Clicked app alternatives: 5 overlay cameras (Oct 2026)
Want a saved photo over your camera without Clicked? PoseCam is the closest match. Pose Genius, Onpose, Hit The Pose and PosePanda fit other needs. As of 21 Oct 2026.
We make Onpose, one of the apps on this list, so we're not neutral. Facts about each app come from App Store listings and Apple's public data; the sources and the dates we checked them are at the end of the page.

PoseCam
best for auto-capture when you match the pose, with a pay-once option
Pick a reference photo and PoseCam lifts the person out of it and lays them over your live camera, where you can drag, pinch, rotate, mirror and fade the overlay. Pose Assist coaches you in real time until the pose locks in green, and Auto-Capture, a Pro feature, then takes the shot, which is the nearest thing here to Clicked's Smart Guide. The listing says your photos stay on your device and no account is required. With 16 US ratings averaging 4.56 (21 Oct 2026), public feedback is still thin. Pick this if you want the camera to shoot for you once you've matched the pose, and you'd rather pay once than subscribe.
Pro $6.99/month or $49.99/year, or $59.99 lifetime (US, 21 Oct 2026)
-
Pose Genius
best for a large pose library alongside your own photos
Shows on-screen pose overlays in the camera, and My Poses saves poses from your camera roll or from screenshots, so your own photos can be the guide. On top of that come 500+ pose ideas, including couple and group poses, an AI scene scan that suggests poses for where you are, and Pro Finish for a polished version of your photo. Its listing calls it a paid app, says most new users can get a free or low-cost trial, and doesn't say where the scan or Pro Finish run. Its 236 US ratings average 4.64 (21 Oct 2026), the most of any app on this page. Pick this if you want a big library as well as your own references, and you're fine paying once the trial ends.
Paid app with a trial; $9.99/week, $19.99/month, yearly from $47.90 (US, 21 Oct 2026)
-
Onpose
best for trying the overlay on your own saved photos before you pay
We make Onpose. Like Clicked, it puts a photo you've saved over the live camera, semi-transparent, with an opacity slider, and it adds a pose library in four sets: outfit, travel, going out and with friends. Browsing, the camera and lining up are free, but taking and saving photos needs Pro, so you can try the overlay without paying but can't keep a photo. Onpose doesn't upload your photos or reference images, and there's no account. Next to Clicked it has no editor, no auto-shoot, an English-only app and no App Store ratings yet. Pick this if you want to line up your own saved photos for free first and you don't need editing in the same app.
$7.99/week or $39.99/year (US App Store, October 2026)
-
Hit The Pose
best for an overlay of your own photos, with selfie and mirror poses
Places a reference over your live camera that you can move, zoom and fade, offers a silhouette mode for its catalog poses, and lets you upload any image from Photos, Pinterest saves included, into Your References. The catalog is split into Trending, Selfie, Mirror, Indoor and Outdoor, and the camera has lens choice, flash, a timer, focus and exposure. The listing says photo and reference pixels stay on your iPhone and there's no account or login, describes no AI features, and doesn't explain what's free versus paid. It has no US ratings yet (21 Oct 2026). Pick this if you want selfie and mirror poses next to your own imports and don't mind trying an app with no public feedback.
Premium listed at $39.99 and $7.99 (US, 21 Oct 2026); the listing doesn't say what's free
-
PosePanda
best for an overlay plus filters and creative layouts
Overlays any photo on your camera so you can match it in real time, and leans toward Clicked's creative side with filters (dreamy, vintage, cinematic, polaroid), text behind the subject, AirDrop-style layouts, album-art edits and Polaroid frames. Its listing says a subscription is required to use the app, and it doesn't say where photos are processed. The last update was on 24 Feb 2026. It has 67 US ratings averaging 4.48 (21 Oct 2026). Pick this if you want the overlay and playful edits in one app and you're happy to subscribe from the start.
Subscription required; $9.99/month or $39.99/year listed (US, 21 Oct 2026)
If you want an app like Clicked, one that turns a photo you’ve saved into a see-through guide in the camera, PoseCam is the closest match: it overlays any reference photo, coaches you until you match it and, with Pro, shoots automatically. Pose Genius, Onpose, Hit The Pose and PosePanda all overlay your own photos too, and suit other needs, covered below.
We make Onpose, one of the apps on this list, so keep that in mind. Every fact here comes from the apps’ US App Store listings, Apple’s public data or public App Store reviews, checked on 21 Oct 2026. We haven’t hands-on tested these apps yet, so this isn’t a ranking.
Why people look for Clicked alternatives
People search for things like “clicked app review” and “clicked app pinterest”, and the name is generic enough that results get noisy. Clicked’s App Store listing says “The camera and timer are free to start”, with Pro unlocking unlimited guided shots, the full preset library, all editing and adjust tools, unlimited Beautify and AI generations. Listed US Pro prices on 21 Oct 2026 ran from $4.99 to $6.99 a week, $7.99 to $9.99 a month and $39.99 to $59.99 a year, plus 10 Magic Credits for $2.99.
Two recent reviews explain some of the searching. One reviewer reported (7 Aug 2026) that “every photo is slapped with a big watermark across it” without Pro. Another reported (9 Aug 2026) that the app “glitches and it slows down” when they use the overlay. Our Clicked vs Onpose page compares the two in detail.
How we ordered them
The need is Clicked’s core trick: a saved photo as a see-through guide while you shoot. Every app below describes that in its listing. We put the closest match to Clicked’s auto-shoot first, then the app with the most public feedback, then the rest by how much you can do before paying and how recently they’ve been updated. Onpose is third: you can line up free, but it has no auto-shoot, no editor and no ratings yet.
| App | Help matching the pose | Free to start | Photos processed | US rating (21 Oct 2026) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| PoseCam | Pose Assist live coaching; Auto-Capture (Pro) | Freemium; Auto-Capture is Pro | On device (stated) | 4.56 (16) |
| Pose Genius | AI scene scan suggests poses | Trial, then paid | Not stated | 4.64 (236) |
| Onpose | None; you line up yourself | Line up free; saving needs Pro | On device (stated) | No ratings yet |
| Hit The Pose | None described | Not described | On device (stated) | No ratings yet |
| PosePanda | None described | No, subscription required | Not stated | 4.48 (67) |
| Clicked, for reference | Smart Guide auto-shoots when aligned | Camera and timer free to start | Not stated | 3.74 (27) |
Prices may vary, and each app’s in-app paywall is the authority.
If you mostly use Clicked for editing
Clicked is a camera and an editor in one, with 50+ presets, Beautify, AI styles and object removal. None of the apps above lists a full editor like that. PosePanda comes closest, with filters and creative layouts, and Pose Genius offers Pro Finish, a polished version of your photo. Onpose has no editor at all: it’s a camera for lining up the shot. If editing is the reason you use Clicked, keep an editor you like and pick the camera separately.

questions
Is there a free alternative to Clicked?
Not a fully free one among these, going by their listings. Onpose lets you browse poses and line up with the overlay free, but saving photos needs Pro. PoseCam is freemium, with Auto-Capture as a Pro feature. Hit The Pose's listing doesn't say what's free. For comparison, Clicked's own listing says its camera and timer are free to start.
Which apps like Clicked shoot automatically when I'm lined up?
PoseCam is the one here whose listing describes it: Pose Assist coaches you until the pose locks in green, and Auto-Capture, a Pro feature, takes the shot. The listings for Pose Genius, Onpose, Hit The Pose and PosePanda don't describe auto-capture.
Which Clicked alternatives don't upload my photos?
PoseCam and Hit The Pose say in their listings that your photos stay on your device, and Onpose doesn't upload your photos or reference images. None of the three needs an account. Pose Genius and PosePanda don't say where photos are processed, and neither does Clicked.
